Best Gifts for Snowboarders

Everybody loves getting a gift. And if you have a snowboarder in your life, they are going to love any gift that can help them take advantage of one of their favorite winter activities. Plus, giving can be just as rewarding as receiving, right?!

I’ve been snowboarding for the majority of my life. Over the years, I’ve used many different items that have helped support my riding adventures or allowed me better to take advantage of my time in the snow.

The gift ideas you’ll find in this post reflect my experience. I think that there is something for every type of rider and all of the products have a solid benefit.

Whether it’s a birthday, holiday, or just to show you care, a gift is always a great way to show love and appreciation.

Time to get out the wrapping paper and get started.

1. Burton Bullet Tool

The Burton Bullet Tool makes an excellent gift for just about every rider. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket but can really help you out on the mountain if you need to adjust your bindings or make a minor repair on the fly.

The tool is lightweight and small enough while still providing valuable and effective performance. It also has a design that allows you to use it without taking your gloves off, which is an awesome benefit.

The Bullet comes with #2 and #3 Phillips head drivers, a flat head driver, a 4mm Allen key, and a 10mm wrench. That covers all of the basics, and the foldout handle gives you ratcheting power to get the job done right.

2. GoPro Hero 9

The GoPro Hero 9 is another fantastic gift that every snowboarder will love. It gives you an amazing way to capture all of the adventures in the snow and is fully capable of withstanding the demanding conditions that occur when riding.

The Hero 9 is fully waterproof and shockproof to give you durable performance that will pay off after a long day on the slopes. You’ll be able to shoot 5K Ultra HD video and 20mp photos to share with friends.

It also comes with exceptional image stabilization, so quality images and video can be taken if you bounce around the mountain riding tough. It also has a long battery life for all-day use on the slopes.

6. LifeProof FRE Series Waterproof Case

The LifeProof FRE Series Waterproof Case will help keep a phone safe, secure, and watertight when it’s along for the ride. I know plenty of snowboarders who have lost or broken their phones on the mountain, and a quality case can fix this problem.

This case is fully water and snowproof, which makes it ideal for snowboarding. It’s submergible to 66 feet and fully sealed to keep out dust, ice, and dirt. It also helps protect the phone from drops and other damage.

The link above is to an iPhone 12, but just be sure you get the right model to work with whatever phone the person to who you are giving the gift has.

Every snowboarder should already be riding with a helmet. But if you know someone who doesn’t, or if they need a new one, the Smith Optics Mission MIPS is one of the best around in terms of comfort and safety.

This lightweight and comfortable helmet also provides a ton of safety thanks to MIPS technology and a Koroyd construction. It also has 14 vents and an adjustable climate control regulator for added airflow.

The dial fit system is one of the most effective I’ve used at keeping a helmet firmly in place without it feeling too tight. It also comes in many different colors for a variety of stylized options.

Let’s face it, snowboarding can take a toll on the body. Even though a great day on the slopes will leave you smiling, your body may be paying the price. That’s why this muscle and joint pain relief cream makes a great gift.

This is an herbal formula that I have found very effective after a long day on the slopes. Whether you have achy knees, a sore back, or any other issue, this stuff does a great job of providing relief.

It’s also easy to pack and bring along on a trip to the mountain. Injuries and overuse are a fact of life for every snowboarder, and this cream can help someone recover quickly to get back on the snow at full blast.
